Several trade unions representing airport workers in Paris are calling for a strike during the week leading up to the OS in France. The reason is a dispute over bonuses in connection with the Olympic Games.
The trade unions believe that bonuses should be paid to all staff, not just certain groups.
The airports in question are Charles de Gaulle and Orly, which will receive the majority of foreign visitors during the OS. The strike has been announced for July 17, nine days before the sporting events begin.
