After the knee operation, the Swedish golf star Ludvig Åberg is now speaking out for the first time.
"The operation on my worn-out medial meniscus went well last week, a couple of weeks of rehab and rest lie ahead of me. Looking forward to playing soon", writes the 24-year-old on Instagram.
World number five Åberg got problems with his knee at the beginning of April, but managed to finish second in his major debut at the US Masters despite this. After a shorter break later in the spring, he was then able to compete as planned throughout the summer.
The procedure on the knee was performed last Thursday, just a few days after the PGA tour final was decided.
