After the interrupted Stockholm derby between Hammarby and Djurgården, harsh criticism comes from Sports Minister Jakob Forssmed (KD).
"A thorough cultural change is required within football and one must get to grips with these recurring disturbances and violent outbursts", he writes in a comment to Dagens Nyheter.
The government's inquiry to reduce violence in the stands is expected to be completed in March next year. As early as November 5, Jakob Forssmed has called representatives from football, police, and prosecutors to a new meeting, the newspaper reports.
"Everyone should be able to go to football and feel safe", writes Forssmed.
