Czech police found 30 migrants, including one deceased person, in a truck on a motorway between Prague and the German city of Dresden on Monday.
A helicopter was called in to search for several of the individuals who fled from the truck when it was stopped by the police. Later, the police reported that all had been found and taken into custody.
The deceased person, a 30-year-old woman, was found unconscious in the truck.
"A doctor declared her dead after resuscitation attempts were made," rescue workers wrote on X.
The other individuals in the truck did not require hospital care, but were in "poor condition" according to the rescue service.
According to the police, it appeared that the migrants were on their way through the Czech Republic to another destination.
