The man was working at the Pressbyrån when a person walked in and shot him with two bullets.
Now, a 16-year-old boy has been convicted of attempted murder following the incident in central Gothenburg last November.
The boy has been sentenced to two years and eight months in closed youth care. According to the Gothenburg District Court, this corresponds to a 16-year prison sentence for an adult.
"All the evidence taken together leads the court to conclude that it is established beyond reasonable doubt that the 16-year-old is the shooter," says Judge Carolina Granlund in a press release.
