Zverev advances – meets Ruud in semifinal
German Alexander Zverev is through to the semifinals of the French Open – his fourth in a row – after beating Alex de Minaur from Australia in straight sets, 6–4, 7–6 (7–6), 6–4. Despite the numbers, it was a bit of a sweaty battle for Zverev.
World number five knocked out – lost to de Minaur
He won the first set – but then the French Open ended for Daniil Medvedev. The Russian fell in the round of 16 against Australian Alex de Minaur with a 1–3 set score.
