Djokovic to miss Davis Cup due to injury

A thigh injury stopped Novak Djokovic in the semifinal of the Australian Open on Friday.

The same thigh injury means that the Serbian tennis star cannot play in the Davis Cup this week, writes ATP.

Serbia is set to face Denmark in the first qualifying round.

The 37-year-old Djokovic broke off the semifinal against Alexander Zverev, Germany, after one set. An X-ray examination revealed a muscle injury in his left thigh.
