This occurred in connection with a phone call between the two leaders, writes Zelenskyj on X.
"Chancellor Scholz also shared details from his phone call with Putin. It is clear that only the combined strength of weapons and diplomacy can force those responsible for this war to end it", writes Zelenskyj.
It was earlier in November that the German Chancellor spoke on the phone with Putin. Zelenskyj then condemned Scholz's actions, accusing him of playing into Putin's hands and comparing the call to opening "Pandora's box".
The call between Putin and Scholz was the first in almost two years.
