A motorist has been caught for speeding on the German motorway A2 near Magdeburg, west of Berlin. In a routine check, it was discovered that the driver was driving at 320 kilometers per hour – 200 kilometers per hour over the speed limit.
Autobahn, as the motorways are called in Germany, are known for not having any speed limits. But the free speed only applies to certain sections.
The motorist received a fine of just over 10,000 Swedish kronor and a driving ban for three months, according to the police.
