An 18-year-old man has been detained after a dangerous object was found at a villa in Lina, Södertälje, on Friday.
The 18-year-old is suspected on probable grounds of attempted gross endangerment and gross crime against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods. Länstidningen Södertälje has learned that it was a so-called thermos bomb.
The man was detained early on Saturday morning. Interrogations will be held and technical evidence will be examined in the case, said Robin Simonsson, the Prosecutor's Office press service, to the newspaper.
Several residences were evacuated when the object was found.
