A 20-year-old man has been arrested on probable cause suspected of attempted murder and serious weapons offense, several media outlets report.
The arrest was made after a 35-year-old man was shot in his home in Åkersberga north of Stockholm on Wednesday night.
The police were alerted to the scene and in connection with the police operation, a man suspected of attempted murder and serious weapons offense was apprehended and later detained. He is now arrested.
The man who was shot was awake when he was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
