A 26-year-old Briton has died after falling from a bridge in central Spain.
The man is said to have climbed up on the bridge in Talavera de la Reina to "create content" for social media, according to local authorities.
According to the authorities, he came to the site along with another Briton specifically to climb the Castilla-La Mancha bridge, which spans the Tagus River.
The suspension bridge in question is Spain's highest and Europe's second-highest at 192 meters. With 152 cables and a view of the countryside southwest of Madrid, it has long attracted daredevil tourists who climb up on the bridge to take photos and film, despite it being prohibited.
