The EU's Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas has called for the meeting and says in a statement:
”We are working for a sustainable and just peace and international law is clear: All temporarily occupied areas belong to Ukraine.”
She also warns against a peace agreement that does not include Ukrainian participation or offers sufficient protection against future Russian attacks on Ukraine or Europe.
The ministers will also discuss the situation in Gaza, according to Kallas.
Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (The Moderate Party) states to TT that she is participating via video link.
Malmer Stenergard discussed the situation in Ukraine on Sunday with her Ukrainian colleague Andrij Sybiha.
”We focused on the diplomatic development. I informed about the situation at the front and Ukraine's stance on a path towards a just and sustainable peace”, writes Sybiha on X.
