The sentiment among investors in the eurozone falls in July, shows the Sentix index.
The average index fell to minus 7.3, a decrease from 0.3 in June. Analysts had expected an index of minus 0.5 percent, according to Bloomberg. It is the first decline since October 2023.
The sub-index for the current situation fell to minus 15.8 compared to minus 9 in June. As for future confidence, there was also a decrease – from 10 in June to 1.5 in July.
The index measures confidence in economic activity in the currency area.
