The woman was out for a walk with her dog when she was attacked from behind by the person who hit her hard in the back with a sharp object.
The police spokesperson Thomas Fuxborg says it happened near the woman's home.
She is out walking her dog and when she turns around, she sees, as she herself puts it, a young guy following her. When she turns her head forward again, she suddenly feels a hard blow to her back, says Fuxborg and continues:
She sees how he disappears around the corner of the house. She has never seen the guy before and has no description either, since it all happens so fast.
The woman made her way home to her apartment, where a relative alerted the police.
It was the police and ambulance personnel who noticed that the woman had been injured with a sharp object. The woman has been taken to hospital.
The police are investigating attempted murder or aggravated assault. No one has been arrested.
The police have begun door-to-door inquiries in the area.
