Earlier this year, a woman was found dead in a pond outside Mora. The police suspected that she may have been subjected to a crime and a man was detained for a period suspected of murder.
Now the prosecutor has decided to discontinue the preliminary investigation since it has not been possible to prove that the man committed a crime.
Even though it's been a tough process he's gone through, it's a huge relief, says the man's defense attorney Anders Ericson to Mora Tidning.
The woman was found at the beginning of September and just over a week later the man was detained. He was released two weeks later, but was still suspected.
