A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 50-year-old woman who was found dead outdoors in Hällefors, Örebro County, on Sunday, reports Nerikes Allehanda.
The woman has been identified as the woman who had been missing since the beginning of December last year.
The man was arrested on Saturday. According to NA, the woman and the man were acquaintances from before.
The man denies the crime.
When the woman disappeared in December last year, the police initially investigated it as a disappearance without suspicion of crime. But in January, the investigation took a new turn and the police regarded it as a suspected kidnapping.
