A 75-year-old woman has been found dead in Sköndal, Stockholm, during the night leading up to Sunday.
Initially, a man of the same age was arrested, suspected of murder, but by 12 pm on Sunday, he was released.
There is nothing to suggest that a crime has been committed. We are now awaiting a medical examination to determine the cause of death, says Robin Simonsson at the Prosecutor's Office press service.
The police investigation remains ongoing until the cause of death is established.
The woman and the man are said to have had a close relationship with each other. According to Expressen, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is said to have taken place in an inflatable pool.
