A woman in her 70s has been found dead at Gräsö in Östhammar municipality after a drowning accident.
The police were alerted to the island, located outside Öregrund, at around 11 pm on Saturday evening.
The police arrive at the scene and we can confirm that it is a drowning accident, says the police's press spokesperson Roland Komaromi.
There is no suspicion of crime. Relatives have been informed.
