The Stockholm stock exchange fell slightly on Tuesday. The OMXS index closed 0.2 percent down.

Most of the companies on the OMXS30 index with the most traded shares fell.

The worst performer was the cloud service company Sinch. On Monday, the company rose nearly 16 percent, but on Tuesday the share fell back and closed 4.4 percent down.

The pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca fell 2.1 percent after a lung cancer study with mixed results was presented.

Against the trend, the real estate company SBB rose 4.7 percent. The forestry company SCA also performed strongly and closed plus 2.3 percent.

The leading stock exchanges in Europe also fell during the day.

The oil price continues to fall. A barrel of North Sea oil is now at 69.40 dollars per barrel. It is the first time since December 2021 that the price is lower than 70 dollars per barrel.

The market is now waiting, among other things, for new inflation figures from the USA, which will be released on Wednesday, and an interest rate decision from the ECB on Thursday.
