Left Party politician spreads Jew-hatred – refuses to leave

He agreed to leave his political assignments after spreading anti-Semitism. But now the Left Party member Ali Hadrous wants to stay. He no longer represents us, so it's obvious that he should resign, says the Left Party's party secretary Aron Etzler.

The HD and Sydsvenskan recently revealed that V-politician Ali Hadrous, who sits on Landskrona's municipal council and is on the party's board in the municipality, spreads anti-Semitism and glorifies terrorists.

Researcher and Middle East expert Anders Persson says in the investigation that it involves "the entire spectrum of anti-Semitism".

In social media posts, Hadrous has, among other things, spread the message that the media, the USA, and other countries are controlled by "the Jews", he has called Israeli soldiers "Hitler's heirs" and has spread conspiracy theories that Hamas did not kill any civilians during the terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7.

"Ruined the party"

After the revelation, Ali Hadrous was suspended from the party and an expulsion case was initiated. The Left Party has also urged him to resign from his assignments, which he initially stated he would do.

Now, however, Ali Hadrous tells the newspaper Flamman that he has changed his mind and intends to remain in the municipal council, even if it requires a fight.

He further states that he himself does not believe that he has shared anti-Semitic posts and that he is critical of the Left Party's leadership.

Nooshi Dadgostar has ruined the entire party. She takes direct action on issues and condemns them, and it's because of such an attitude that the Left Party is weak, he says to Flamman.

The Left Party's party secretary Aron Etzler calls the posts shared by Ali Hadrous "unacceptable and an expression of anti-Semitism".

They have no place in the Left Party, he says to TT and continues:

He has stood for election for the Left Party, he is elected as a Left Party member, then it is us he should represent. And he no longer represents us. Then it is obvious that he should resign, he says.

Missed things

According to Sydsvenskan's and HD's investigation, these posts have been around for a longer period, how is it that they have not been discovered by the party earlier?

As I understand it, he shares a lot of material on his social media, I think the local party has missed how serious some things have been, says Aron Etzler and continues:

The Left Party is an anti-racist party, we actively work against anti-Semitism. If you still join the Left Party, you're in the wrong place. I think we are extremely clear about that.
