The USA hopes that Sweden will lend a helping hand in the Americans' work to "revive" the dialogue with the closed dictatorship.
This is stated by Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the American Foreign Ministry, at a press conference on Monday after Swedish diplomats have now returned to Pyongyang after being forced to leave in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The USA has no diplomatic relations with North Korea, which is why Sweden has functioned as a contact for the USA.
