An American drone has killed a leader of an al-Qaeda allied group in northwestern Syria, according to the American military's command center for the Middle East, Centcom.
Abu Abdul Rahman Makki was killed while riding a motorcycle. According to Centcom, he was the leader of the group Horas al-Din and responsible for organizing terrorist attacks from Syria.
The British-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) reports that he was a Saudi citizen.
