The Sudan crisis is almost completely forgotten right now. There are so many crises going on in the world that people can't take in more, says WFP chief Cindy McCain to AP.

Right now, it's difficult to get through in large parts of Sudan due to flooding. The UN reports that it takes longer than usual to reach, for example, the Zamzam refugee camp, with over 400,000 people.

It has taken our convoys almost two weeks to get through. Bridges and roads have been washed away. It's a combination of several tragic factors, says Cindy McCain.

10 million people have been forced to flee in Sudan due to the civil war: a power struggle between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
