Magnus Uggla is celebrating 50 years as an artist with a new show. He got the idea for "Magnus Uggla – 50 years on the throne" when the king celebrated the same jubilee last year.
The idea is to transform Göta Lejon in Stockholm into a royal palace for one evening. Almost everything that is included in a royal jubilee will be part of the show, as well as Uggla's biggest hits, of course.
I got the idea when I sang for the king when he celebrated 50 years on the throne, then I thought, damn, next year it's me who's celebrating 50 years on the throne, says Uggla to Aftonbladet.
"50 years on the throne" premieres on January 24, 2025, and runs until March 15. Tickets will be released on September 3.
