Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance since a strongly corrosive saline solution leaked out in a warehouse belonging to a logistics company in Jönköping, reports Jönköpings-Posten.
The two are said to have felt an impact in the throat and respiratory tract, according to the rescue service. The premises have been evacuated and chemical rescue workers have been called in to collect the spill. The alarm came at 00:50.
There has been a leak from a drum that stood on a pallet and leaked onto the floor, says the rescue service's lead operator to TT.
