Two men are sentenced to 16 years in prison for murder outside a party boat on Södermalm in Stockholm, writes Expressen.
A third man is acquitted of murder charges, but is convicted of drug offenses.
It was in August 2024 that a man was stabbed to death.
The district court examined whether the three suspects could have acted in self-defense or if it was a case of manslaughter, since the murder victim, according to the verdict, attacked the trio first.
But the number of stab wounds, as well as the fact that the victim was numerically outnumbered, led to the two men being convicted of murder.
The third man is acquitted since he was not present when the murder was committed, according to the newspaper.
