Two men have been found shot in a local premises in Sätra center in southern Stockholm.
The initial reports indicate that both individuals, who are supposed to be adults, were awake and able to speak, says police spokesperson Nadya Norton.
The men, one in his 20s and one in his 30s, were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their condition is described as stable.
The police were alerted to the shooting just before 4 pm on Friday.
An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated, and investigative work is now underway. We are gathering as much information as possible, including forensic evidence. We are talking to witnesses, if there are any, and searching for the person or persons who did this, says Nadya Norton.
The area is cordoned off, and at 9:30 pm, the police were still on site as the technical investigation was still ongoing.
