Two men were shot dead in Hageby, Norrköping, on the night before Monday. A man in his early twenties has been arrested and detained on suspicion of murder, according to the police.

Large cordon-offs have been made around a multi-family house and several patrols are on the scene.

A man in his early twenties was arrested by a police patrol during the night. He was initially suspected of gross weapons offenses, but this was later changed to suspected of murder in two cases. He is now detained.

Several patrols have searched the area for additional perpetrators and a large area is cordoned off, both indoors and outdoors.

The police have cordoned off an additional area on Arkösundsvägen. There, a firearm was found on the ground, according to Norrköpings Tidningar.

As of now, the police will not comment on whether the crime is linked to gang crime.

In Hageby, residents express both shock and despair.

But even though it feels unsafe, she has no desire to move.

Samir, 38, who does not want to reveal his surname, is not as convinced.
