Two men have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a 25-year-old man in Borås on Friday night, writes Borås Tidning.
According to the newspaper, one of the men is suspected of murder and the other of gross protection of a criminal.
It was at half past four in the morning on Friday that the police were alerted to the Sjöbo district after reports of loud bangs.
On a pedestrian path, a 25-year-old man was later found shot. He was taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved.
I can confirm that a man who has moved in gang criminal environments has been shot with multiple shots and subsequently died, said Carolyn Westeröd, prosecutor in the case, to P4 Sjuhärad on Friday.
