A 21-year-old man is being prosecuted for shooting dead a 26-year-old in Borås last August.

"The 21-year-old now being prosecuted for murder is part of the same gang constellation as the deceased and has been detained for the crime since August," says prosecutor Carolyn Westeröd in a press release.

A 22-year-old man suspected of having hidden the shooter and the murder weapon in his residence is being prosecuted for gross protection of a criminal and gross weapons offense. Both men were arrested a few days after the incident.

"In the 22-year-old's apartment, in addition to the murder weapon with accompanying ammunition and magazine, narcotics were also found," says Westeröd.
