Two people have been arrested after a shooting at a residence in Ektorp in Nacka, east of Stockholm, the police report to TT. The alarm about the shooting came just before 11 pm on Wednesday evening.

No one is injured, says Jari Kalliorinne, duty officer at the police, but adds that the whole incident is being investigated as attempted murder and serious weapons offense.

People were in the residence during the shooting, but the police cannot disclose how many were involved.

The police also do not want to comment on any suspicions about what may have triggered the shots.

A large operation was launched after the alarm, and a technical investigation was conducted.

We are finished at the scene and the operation is completed, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl on Thursday morning.
