Two people have been detained following a suspected attempted murder in the villa area of Lännersta in Nacka, outside Stockholm, the police announce on their website.
It was on Thursday evening that one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It's a case of serious injuries, but I won't go into how serious the injuries are, nor how they were inflicted on this person, said police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl to TT during the evening.
According to information obtained by Aftonbladet, one person was stabbed outdoors.
The alarm was raised at 20:40 on Thursday. The police investigation has been ongoing throughout the night and will continue during the day.
