Twelve people are convicted of involvement in a web of weapons, narcotics, and economic crime on Österlen in Skåne. The main perpetrator, a 30-year-old, is sentenced to eleven years in prison, reports Ystads Allehanda. Among the others convicted are also his parents and his partner.
The crimes have mainly been committed in southeastern Skåne, but have had connections to other parts of Sweden and to other countries.
The 30-year-old is convicted, among other things, of extremely serious narcotics smuggling, serious weapons offenses, several serious narcotics offenses, and serious money laundering offenses. Information from encrypted chats has been a significant part of the evidence.
