The attacks were carried out in the area in northern Syria controlled by Kurds, where Turkey has been conducting an offensive since November.
According to the SDF, Turkish drones hit a popular market on Tuesday, resulting in 12 people being killed and 22 injured. Artillery fire over two other areas killed a further six people on Monday and Tuesday.
The US-backed SDF led the military operation that drove the terrorist sect IS from Syria in 2019, but Ankara accuses the largest component of the forces, YPG, of close ties to the banned and terrorist-listed organization PKK in Turkey.
According to the British-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR), over 500 people, including many civilians, have been killed in the fighting since dictator Bashar al-Assad was overthrown by Islamist-led rebels in December.
