The USA's future president Donald Trump confirms that he plans to introduce a national emergency in the USA in order to be able to call in the military in the migration issue.
Trump has as an election promise that migrants without documentation for residence in the USA will be deported.
On the social platform Truth Social, Trump marked a previous post from a political activist that the coming president "is ready to introduce a national emergency and will use military resources to turn around (President Joe) Biden's invasion (of migrants) through a massive deportation program".
"True!", Trump wrote in a comment to the post.
Authorities in the USA estimate that there are around eleven million migrants who lack residence permits in the USA, but that as many as 20 million families can be affected by a decision on mass deportations.
