The music was played when the Republican presidential candidate's son Eric Trump entered the stage together with his wife Lara.
In an email to the newspaper, Michele Coombe at Europe's management Adam Parsons Entertainment writes that the band has not approved the song being played.
"Europe has not given its permission to the campaign and does not comment on or support any political candidates", she writes.
It is not the first time "The Final Countdown" has been used in political contexts. In 2019, the singer Joey Tempest spoke out against the song being used during the Brexit campaign in the UK.
