The autumn tour with Nationalteatern's rock orchestra is cancelled following the news of Ulf Dageby's passing, confirms concert organizer Birger Hult at the management company Nöjet AB. Norrköpings Tidningar was the first to break the news.
We feel that with what has happened to Ulf, who was the front person of the band and one of its founders, it was not feasible to do anything else, but in agreement with all parties involved, cancel the performances, says Hult to TT.
It feels extremely sad, but at the same time, it's a small thing in the grand scheme. The absence of Ulf is the big thing.
Those who have purchased tickets are advised to contact the respective concert hall to get their ticket refunded.
The artist passed away in his home on Skaftö in the Bohuslän archipelago on Tuesday.
