At the same time, de la Motte is celebrating 15 years as an author. His debut "Geim" was published in 2010, and in total, his books have been sold in over two million copies in Sweden and translated into 30 languages.
"This is a unique agreement, both in scope and significance. Being able to continue working with Anders for a long time to come feels fantastic", says Annie Kabala, publisher at Bokförlaget Forum, in a press release.
The new agreement for ten books is divided between the series about Leo Asker and the puzzle deck series Mord under solen which he writes together with Anette de la Motte.
Anders de la Motte is a former police officer and security manager and has been awarded, among other things, the Swedish Crime Writers' Academy's debutant prize 2010 and the prize for best Swedish crime novel 2015.
