Olympic Games debutants Vilma Bobeck and Rebecca Netzler got a tough start to the sailing in the waters outside Marseille in the 49er FX two-woman dinghy.
After Sunday's three initial sailings in weak winds, the Swedish women are in 13th place out of a total of 20 boats.
Although the duo finished sixth in the second sailing, they ended up in 14th place in the first and in the third sailing, Bobeck/Netzler finished in 15th place.
The Swedish women have been sailing together for two and a half years and took World Championship gold in The Hague in 2023.
The top ten after the twelve basic sailings will compete for Olympic Games medals in the final race.
