The novels sold best – no non-fiction book is among the 20 best-selling book titles. In second and third place came the first two novels in Ruth Kvarnström-Jones' historical feel-good series, "The phenomenal women at Grand Hôtel" and "The girlfriends at Nordiska Kompaniet". This is shown by new statistics from the Swedish Booksellers' Association and the Publishers' Association.
The statistics cover all sales channels, including audiobooks via subscription services. For the best-seller "The Sleepwalker", almost half of the sales, 46 percent, took place through subscription services.
The fourth best-selling book title became "Damn guys", Andrev Walden's August winner from 2023.
The list of non-fiction books is topped by the everyday philosophical thought book "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by the British illustrator Charlie Mackesy, a book that was published as early as 2020.
The best-selling children's and young adult book became "Hero's tears" by the humor trio IJustWantToBeCool.
