Mischa Billing makes a comeback when "Sveriges mästerkock" is back – on a new day, Sundays. An incredibly good time to broadcast a program, she says.

Mischa Billing has been in the jury of "Sveriges mästerkock" for ten years, but was replaced in the spring by Tina Nordström. But now she is back. Because for the first time, there will also be an autumn edition of the cooking competition - and also at a new time.

"Sveriges mästerkock" is moving from Wednesdays to Sundays at 20.00, with a premiere on August 24.

In the spring, "Sveriges mästerkock" is broadcast on Wednesdays, but during the autumn it is the broadcast day of "Bonde söker frus". We believe that "Sveriges mästerkock" will be a perfect ending to the weekend and that it will be appreciated by the viewers, says TV4's channel and content director Fredrik Arefalk.

"Not Sunday dinners"

The fact that the program gets a more prominent broadcast time on the weekend does not mean that the setup changes.

No, we found out about it pretty late during filming. It's not Sunday dinners we're doing, but as usual it's "down in the pots" that applies. It's competitions and a lot of emotions. It's the vulnerability that makes me want to work with this, says Mischa Billing.

The changed broadcast time is not the only news for the autumn. Mischa Billing is surrounded by two new jury members - star chefs Niklas Ekstedt and Thomas Sjögren.

New spark

Mischa Billing sees it as a new spark.

It gave a new wonderful energy and it has been very fun to do this season, she says.

Niklas Ekstedt and Thomas Sjögren immediately put their mark on this year's season and have different opinions on important issues - such as how much salt is needed. It is put to the test already in the first audition program.

One can say that the participants really had us three as different obstacles to get past, a bit like when you "game", says Mischa Billing.
