They skip the tour – focus on the World Championship

It looks like neither Emma Ribom, Moa Ilar nor Jonna Sundling will participate in the Tour de Ski this winter. In February, the World Championship will be held in Trondheim and the skiers seem to be focusing on peaking in form until then.

In the initial plan, it doesn't feel like it's current to run the Tour de Ski, says Emma Ribom to Sportbladet.

Last season, there was neither World Championship nor Olympic Games, which made almost everyone run the tour.

Neither does Moa Ilar plan to participate.

The basic plan is that I shouldn't run. I need a more solid training block, says Ilar.

Jonna Sundling usually doesn't run the Tour de Ski when there are major championships, and doesn't seem to do so now either.

I haven't closed the door yet, but probably not, says Sundling.

Linn Svahn and Ebba Andersson still have the tour in their planning. On the men's side, it's still unclear who will run.
