Ironman Kalmar: Man in 60s Seriously Injured During Competition

A man in his 65s has been seriously injured in the Ironman competition in Kalmar, reports P4 Kalmar.

The man is being treated in hospital after hitting his head and one shoulder in connection with the cycling in the challenging triathlon competition.

The Ironman distance involves 3,860 meters of swimming, 180.8 kilometers of cycling and a marathon (42,195 meters) of running.
