Here's the weather for the herring lunch, Midsummer games, and evening barbecue - from north to south.
It's looking really bright, with a few exceptions, says meteorologist Magnus Nilsson Sangrud at the SMHI.
Midsummer Eve is offering a break in the weather and sunshine thanks to a high-pressure system coming in from the south. However, there may be isolated cumulus clouds in almost the entire country at lunchtime.
It doesn't seem to be getting as windy as it was in some places yesterday, says Magnus Nilsson Sangrud.
Lunch
Southern Sweden: Mainly Götaland and southern Svealand will get mostly sunshine and clear weather with temperatures between 20 and 24 degrees, lower on the west coast which may get some occasional cloud cover.
Central Sweden: Mostly sunny here too, except for northern Svealand which may get varying cloudiness. Temperatures between 16 and 22 degrees.
Northern Sweden: It may be breezy and there may be quite a lot of cloud in some places, especially in northern and central Norrland. Temperatures between 14 and 19 degrees. Locally, there may be showers in Tornedalen.
However, it's uncertain whether the showers will hit the Swedish side of Tornedalen, says Magnus Nilsson Sangrud.
Afternoon
The afternoon is looking generally good across the country, it doesn't seem to be getting rainy but some cloud cover may occur. The temperatures will hold, says Magnus Nilsson Sangrud.
Southern Sweden: Continued fine weather with clear skies on most places.
Central Sweden: Here too, the dance around the Midsummer pole is expected to be rain-free.
Northern Sweden: The weather is stabilising more and more during the afternoon, the clouds are clearing, and the sun is taking over.
Evening
In the evening, there may be showers in the south, but in the rest of the country, it's looking promising with clear skies and sunshine, according to the SMHI.
Southern Sweden: Showers may move in, mainly in southern Götaland, later in the evening. It will be a warm evening with temperatures between 17 and 22 degrees.
Central Sweden: Later in the evening, around 9 pm, the showers may have reached here too. Temperatures between 14 and 19 degrees.
Northern Sweden: Here, Midsummer Eve is expected to have a mostly sunny conclusion with temperatures between 10 and 17 degrees.
