The Trade Union Unionen is expanding the Tesla strike with two additional sympathy actions.

"Unionen wants to send a clear signal that in Sweden, collective agreements apply for security, influence, and order on the labor market", says Martin Wästfelt, chief negotiator at Unionen, in a press release.

Therefore, on Thursday, a blockade of work tasks related to Tesla at J&B Maskinteknik, a company that regularly performs work at Tesla's workshops, will be notified.

In addition, the trade union has notified a blockade at Tekniska verken in Linköping. The blockade aims to prevent Tesla's charging stations from being connected to Tekniska verken's power grid in Katrineholm and Linköping.

The original conflict is between Tesla and If Metall, where the latter has been trying to get a collective agreement for a longer period. Unionized Tesla workers have been on strike for over a year.

Corrected: In an earlier version of the text, there was an error regarding what the blockade at Tekniska verken aimed to achieve.
