The recording of the series is already underway, with Ivica Zubak ("Must give") as director and Erik Svedberg-Zelman and Viktor Björkberg in two of the other leading roles.

"The ambition is to deliver a new exciting drama series about the sensational heist", says Jon Mankell, executive producer at TV4, in a press release.

The series depicts how a British lord and three Swedish businessmen in 1997 buy the investment company Trustor with the company's own money – only to then distribute high bonuses to themselves. It is loosely based on the book "Dizzying deals" by Gunnar Lindstedt, who was involved in exposing the scandal.

The recordings are taking place in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Croatia, and the head writer is Erik Hultkvist. The series has not yet been given a title. It will be revealed along with more actor names and the broadcast start next year.

In June, the news also came that Netflix is investing in a documentary film about the Trustor scandal by Karin af Klintberg and Teresa Alldén. There, Posener tells about the events in his own words.
