Evan Rachel Wood accused Marilyn Manson in 2020 of subjecting her to psychological and physical abuse during the time they were together between 2007 and 2010.

Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, went to court to sue his ex-girlfriend for defamation, but has now changed his mind.

"After four years of fighting where he has been able to present the truth, Brian is satisfied with being able to drop all lawsuits to close the door to that chapter of his life", says Marilyn Manson's lawyer in a statement to the news agency AP.

Marilyn Manson agrees to pay Evan Rachel Wood's legal costs of 327,000 dollars.

But the artist has other accusations to deal with. "Game of Thrones" actress Esme Bianco has reported him to the police for rape, accusations that Marilyn Manson denies. An investigation is ongoing in the case and the district attorney in Los Angeles recently said that new evidence has been received in the case.
