The Police Authority has received a lot of money to increase the number of police officers. Despite this, the authority has had difficulty filling the places on the police training program. The goal of 10,000 new police officers before the end of the year will not be reached, at the same time as unsuitable individuals have been admitted.
Therefore, the National Audit Office is now launching an investigation, the office announces in a press release. The investigation will, among other things, review the application process and whether the requirements profiles are correct.
The result will be presented in May next year.
