The President's Office of Mohamed Muizzu announces that the cabinet has decided to amend laws to prevent individuals with Israeli passports from entering the country. A special committee will be formed to monitor the process.
Nearly 11,000 Israelis visited the Maldives last year.

Muizzu will also appoint a special envoy to assess Palestinian needs and start a fundraising campaign.
